Jeannette Corbett, C.P.A.
President & CFO

Mrs. Corbett, a certified public accountant, is currently President & CFO of Professional Data Storage and Delivery, Inc. & Cross-Cut Shredding, Inc. She is also President Emeritus of the Quantum Foundation.  Previously, she served as CFO of the Medical Services Division and Vice President of Finance of Phymatrix Corporation (PHMX), based in West Palm Beach, FL.  Prior to her position at Phymatrix, Mrs. Corbett was President of McGill, Roselli, Ayala & Hoppmann, a West Palm Beach-based accounting firm.  She has also served as an adjunct instructor of taxation of Palm Beach State College in Lake Worth, Florida.

Mrs. Corbett has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from The University of Florida, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Mrs. Corbett was Chairman of the Board of JFK Medical Center in Atlantis, Florida from 1991-1994 and was Chair of the Hospital’s Finance Committee from 1989-1991.

She is an alumna of Leadership Florida (1992) and was a member of the Economic Council of Palm Beach County from 1991 to 2006.  In addition to her role at the Quantum Foundation, she was Chairwoman of the Board of Grantmakers in Health from 2003 to 2006; Board member of the Palm Beach County Community Alliance from 2003 to 2006; and United Way of Palm Beach County from 2000 to 2006.  She is the past recipient of the Women of Distinction Award, the Women’s Chamber Giraffe Award, and has been named by the Sun Sentinel as a Power Broker in Palm Beach County.  Mrs. Corbett is a member of the Florida Institute of CPA’s.

Mrs. Corbett, in addition to all of her above responsibilities, has always played an integral role in the finances of PDS and Cross-Cut Shredding, Inc. Her leadership and financial accounting expertise have enabled both companies to become leaders in the off-site records management industry.

She resides with her husband John in Melbourne Beach, Florida.

 

Jim Myers

Mr. Myers, born into a Navy family, lived up and down the east Coast of the United States throughout his younger life, living in Rhode Island, Florida, North Carolina, and South Carolina.  After graduating high school in 1987, he returned to Florida to begin his higher education at Stetson University in DeLand, FL later graduating in 1991 from Stetson with a B.B.A. in Business Management.

During his tenure as a student at Stetson, Mr. Myers also worked for the University’s Campus Safety & Security Department.  During this time, he held many positions in the Department such as Campus Safety Officer, Assistant Director of Campus Traffic Operations, and Interim Director of Campus Safety.  Upon graduating from Stetson, Mr. Myers gained full-time employment at Stetson University as Captain of the Safety & Security Department while at the same time entering the police academy at the Lake-Tech Institute of Public Safety in Eustis, FL.

In 1992, upon graduation from the police academy, Mr. Myers began his career in law enforcement as a Police Officer with the DeLand Police Department in DeLand, FL.  During his time at the DeLand Police Department, Mr. Myers attended many advanced police training courses including:  Intoxilyzer 5000 Operator Course, Radar Operator Course, At-Scene Traffic Homicide Investigation Course, Field Training Officer Course, Investigative Interviewing Techniques Course, and several Human & Cultural Diversity, Domestic Violence & Firearm Certification training courses.   After nearly four years as a full-time police officer in DeLand, Mr. Myers was offered the full-time position as the Director of Campus Safety & Security at Stetson University.  At that time, Mr. Myers became a part-time police officer in DeLand and continued in this position until February 2008.

In January 1997, Mr. Myers left Stetson University to begin his career in off-site records management.  An old college roommate and police academy friend offered Mr. Myers an ownership and managerial role in the opening of Professional Data Storage & Delivery (PDS), in Melbourne, FL.  Starting with just one account and one employee (himself) storing approximately 500 boxes of storage, Mr. Myers with the help of several employees along the way, has grown into a company with nearly 300 accounts storing nearly 150,000 boxes of records.  In addition to starting PDS, Mr. Myers was also pivotal in starting PDS’ sister company, Cross-Cut Shredding, Inc., a company that manages all aspects of document and paper destruction.  PDS & Cross-Cut Shredding are the leading companies in Brevard County providing complete offsite records management including document storage, imaging, retrieval, delivery, and destruction.  Mr. Myers’ business philosophy is simple: honesty and integrity are always first – provide excellent customer service coupled with cutting edge technology – earn an honest living.

Mr. Myers lives in New Smyrna Beach, FL with his wife Tina and their two children, Ashley and Matthew.  He enjoys spending time with his family, politics, and outdoor activities.

 

Kevin Mirth

Mr. Mirth is currently the Vice President of Operations and Co-Owner for Professional Data Storage and Delivery, Inc. and Cross-Cut Shredding, Inc.  He has been with the company since 2002 and continues to enjoy the growth and challenges of this unique industry. 

Previously, he was with The Breakers Resort in Palm Beach Florida as the Hotel Investigator.  Mr. Mirth was responsible for all internal theft, property damage, and personal injury investigations.  As the investigator, he was credited with recovering over $1,000,000 in stolen property for the hotel. 

Prior to his position at The Breakers, Mr. Mirth was the Security Manager for The Palm Beach Post in West Palm Beach Florida.  He has also held the position of the Senior Security / Front Door Manager at Church Street Station in Orlando Florida.  While at Church Street Station, Mr. Mirth was also involved with food and beverage management and ticket sales management. 

Mr. Mirth has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies with a minor in Organizational Communications from The University of Central Florida.  He currently resides in Brevard County where he enjoys living with his beautiful wife and two fantastic children. 

 

Jessica Mirth

Mrs. Mirth is the Office Manager  for Professional Data Storage and Delivery, Inc. and Cross-Cut Shredding, Inc.   She is responsible for our day to day accounting, payroll, insurance and employee benefits.  In her “spare time” she is also a teacher at Eastminster Presbyterian Preschool three days a week.  She has proven to be a valuable asset for both organizations.       

Previously, she managed and operated the Boys and Girls Club in Wellington Florida.  Prior to this she managed outcomes for The United Way in Palm Beach County.  Before relocating to South Florida, she worked for the City of Maitland in the Recreation Department.  During this time, Mrs. Mirth also worked for Church Street Station in Orlando Florida as a lead server.

Mrs. Mirth has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies with a minor in Elementary Education from The University of Central Florida.  She currently resides in Brevard County with her fantastic husband and two beautiful children. 

 

Chris Cassone
Operations Manager

Mr. Cassone is a life-long resident of West Melbourne, FL graduating from Melbourne High School in 1999.  Upon graduating from high school, Mr. Cassone entered Brevard Community College where he studied courses for his AA degree.  He has worked in various customer service and warehousing positions including inventory management and sales at Circuit City where he was responsible for warehouse operations and product marketing and for the Publix Supermarket chain where he was responsible for inventory control in the meat department.

In 2004, Mr. Cassone started working for PDS as a records courier.  Over the years, he has worked in several positions at PDS and Cross-Cut Shredding, Inc. enabling him to become a well-rounded and well-respected peer in the off-site records management industry.

In 2010, he was promoted to the position of Operations Manager at PDS.  In this role, he oversees the records center operations by managing all warehouse personnel and route operations.  In addition, he is the main point of contact for all client related matters.  Hispenchant for detail and keen knowledge of records center operations makes him a vital part of the PDS team.

 

Ron Mares

Mr. Mares is the Account Manager for Professional Data Storage and Delivery, Inc. and Cross-Cut Shredding, Inc.   He is responsible for all customer related activities ranging from customer service to sales.

He began his Records Management career in October 1996 and has held many different positions in the industry.  He started out as a records courier servicing many customers throughout Brevard County and was later promoted to operations coordinator where he managed all the daily duties within the record center.  In 2004, Mr. Mares was promoted to manage the entire operations of the business.

In 2009, Mr. Mares was offered the opportunity to manage 4 record center facilities in Atlanta, GA.  He spent 2 years in Atlanta where he was given many opportunities to learn different roles in the business.  During this time, he had the opportunity to work closely with the account management team by going out on site visits, working with the customer service team, and completing customer tours throughout the record center facilities.

In 2011, he accepted the position of Account Manager with PDS and Cross-Cut Shredding which gave him and his family the opportunity to come home to Brevard.
