Imaging on Demand
PDS realizes that not every paper document needs to be converted to a digital format, stored electronically, or accessed regularly. With this in mind, PDS offers its Image On Demand solution. This document imaging solution is designed to provide quick access to the documents you need when you need them.
Often times, an organization may have very inactive paper documents stored within our facility; however, at times, there may be the need to access one or more of these documents. Rather than imaging all of the documents, the organization may decide to have PDS retrieve each document as the need arises, image the document, and provide the document to the customer. By utilizing this pay-as-you-go service, an organization will realize both immediate and long-term cost savings.
Image On Demand allows your organization to:
- Outsource an organization’s complete document inventory to PDS for a long-term reduction in cost
- Retrieve, scan and make documents available on-demand for rapid access
- Reduce scanning and storage costs by only scanning what you need, when you need it
- Receive images by email, a secure FTP site, or view images on VaultView
- Protect sensitive documents with multiple layers of security
- Enable quick implementation and deployment, with little or no capital outlay
Flexible image retrieval options
Once a document is scanned, you can choose to access it via a secure FTP site, have it emailed as a securely encrypted hyperlink or email attachment, or view it on PDS’ Hosted Content Management System – VaultView. If your organization has an existing electronic document management (EDM) system, we can also transfer your current images for online image hosting.
